Name of Jutsu: Rubijiumu Atsumari | Rubidium Collection
Rank: B
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Jiton
Description:
The user, by forcing their sand gold beneath the earth, is capable of crushing small pebbles and rocks, extracting the element metal known as rubidium with Jiton chakra, before mixing it in with their sand gold.
Rubidium itself is extremely reactive with both air and water, exploding violently when it touches either, thus it is very useful yet risky to a shinobi. To keep it from prematurely exploding, the user keeps it away from the surface of the sand gold at all times, buried beneath the gold, which keeps it away from oxygen. However, if the gold comes into contact with any source of water, the rubidium explodes, sending the gold flying and destroying all in a radius around the point of contact, usually around the same size as an exploding tag, depending on the concentration of rubidium.
Due to it's paramagnetic state, it is capable of being used similar to the sand gold in conjunction with Jiton chakra. Plus, as it is the twenty-third most abundant element in the earth's crust, it is relatively easy to find simply by crushing dry mud and rocks, removing rubidium through a process of magnetic selection.
When this technique is used to gather the element and mix it with the sand gold, the user may extract enough to be equivalent to two exploding notes when it makes contact with water.
Name of Jutsu: Sakin no Bakukyuugouu | Exploding Sudden Downpour of Sand Gold
Rank: A
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Jiton
Range: 50m radius
Description:
By using the Rubijiumu Atsumari, Karren gathers a large amount of rubidium and mixes it with her sand gold. She will then direct it towards the target, usually in a wave or tendril of dense gold, before soaking the gold with a simple Suiton technique. Due to the natural reactive properties of the rubidium, it explodes violently, with enough force to be on par with a pair of exploding notes.
In turn, this not only would cause damage to the target, but also scatter the gold dust into the air, heating it up to considerable levels. Also, due to the water present at the time of the explosion, it evaporates, creating a mist high in the air, which eventually cools into a hail, similar to the Joki Boi technique.
The immense levels of heat generated by the rubidium forces the sand gold to melt, causing it to clump together into large globs before falling to the earth at extreme speed, similar to rain. The air resistance then heat's it further, causing it to glow a bright pink colour as it falls. When the gold hits something in it's area of effect, it will stick to it and cause severe liquid burns, similar to napalm, usually causing things to set on fire. It is also extremely difficult to remove while in this state, meaning a human struck with this technique will feel an intense burning sensation wherever struck, which eventually eats away at their skin.
Remember the hail I mentioned earlier? Well, when that falls, it cools the gold until it reforms to it's solid state, causing the surrounding area to be covered in a coat of solid gold and also encasing human targets with the substance after they have been burned. Of course, to a Sakin user the gold is now unusable to them, as it is now completely solid. However, if they are able to crush it using their remaining gold sand, they will be able to use it again as gold sand.
