"Ahh nono, this won't do!"
A piece of paper tossed off into the wind. The air that passed all around the floating village had caught the paper ball and thrown it into the currents of wind and down into the abyss below. A young man had been sitting on a concrete wall high up in the village with a scrap book and a pen. One of his many hobbies was to write, whether it be poems, stories, ideas, anything that came into his head. If was a bit of a gift of his as he was able to write about anything of any genre. He wanted to eventually retire from the shinobi world and just sit back in his home and write, but that would not be for a while.
"How can you call yourself a writer when you cannot even do something as simple as describe a naked woman's body?!"
He yelled at himself, despite what anyone else might think. One thing he was somewhat known for in the village was writing erotic novels, one of his favourite hobbies. He figured he should stop, considering he was married now to a young and quite beautiful woman, but this was something he was good at. He was stubborn and he wasn't going to stop doing what he loved to do just because of something someone else might think. With a bit of a sneer, he put his pen back to the paper and began writing again, attempting to draw any kind of idea from his mind of what the readers of his erotic novels might like to imagine. Smoke rose from the crooked mouth of an older man who walked slowly down the streets of Soragakure no Sato. The wind had been blowing violently throughout the day, and it wouldn’t surprise anyone in the village if a sand storm were to come up before the end of the day. Ko could feel it in his bones. It was an unsettling instinct of his, and most of the time he was proved right as in a day or two the sand would rise and cover the sky over the village. It wasn’t always a problem for them as the buildings were built to sustain such violent disasters. The only thing that had to be kept in mind was to stay indoors. It didn’t make much of a difference unless you wanted to be buried alive in the many pounds of dry sand above your head.
Despite these odd feelings Ko still walked, his usually slow pace allowing people to pass him in the streets. The wind picked up again and it pressed against him as it tried to push him back, almost successfully. However, Ko was skilled in keeping his balance, something that came with his occupation as a ninja. It was then that a wad of crumbled up paper hit his face and rolled past him, flying through the streets as though it was simply a grain of sand in a typhoon. He looked up, seeing a familiar man sitting on top of the buildings high above the grounds of the village. With that Ko jumped from ledge to ledge until he stood behind the man, his back leaning against the side wall of the building beside him.
“You’re littering the village, Testuma.” Ko looked over at him. His words were not meant to be rude, but could easily be taken as so. The Jounin felt a little strange talking to the author. He had read his works before and he was pretty well known for his writings. However, that wasn’t the reason he felt so uncomfortable talking to the young male. It was the event that had occurred a while back between Ko and Tetsuma’s wife. It caused a bit of a problem, but it was over and there really wasn’t anything else left to be said.
The wind’s strength yelled at the two of them, and Ko’s pipe blew out. A frown crossed his face as he emptied the pipe and put it back in his mouth. He wasn’t just addicted to the nicotine, but the feeling of the pipe dangling in his mouth gave him a sense of worth.

"Hrm? Someone will pick it up. That's why we've hired janitors,"
Tetsuma said without turning his head. He didn't really know who was behind him either. Though he had run into Ko a few times in the past and has heard of him a number of times, he didn't hang out with him enough to know his voice instantly just by hearing it. He shrugged and continued writing for a bit, attempting to get over the writer's block he had developed. The presence of the man behind him though started to get to him and made it increasingly more hard to concentrate on his work while he was being creeped on by somebody.
"What're you doing out this fine day, anyways?"
Tetsuma sighed and placed his pen back into his tool pouch, closing his scrapbook and laying it down beside him. He really couldn't focus anymore now that a stranger was here. He put his hands on the floor and pulled himself away from the ledge of the concrete wall before standing up and turning around to see who was there, only to realize it was his senior, Toshizou Ko. He quickly bowed his head a bit in respect and gave a friendly smile. TechniquesNone ItemsNone

Ko simply shrugged. He honestly didn’t care about Testuma littering the village. Then again the Jounin was never one to drop a piece of paper and expect someone else to chase after it in the wind later on. He went no further on the matter for it really wasn’t any of his business. The red-headed man was laid back today. He hadn’t had a note-worthy mission in a while, and he was doing his best to take the time off to rest a good bit and loosen his tight self from the hoard of mission he had received the many weeks before. With a storm approaching it also wasn’t likely that he would get one until it settled down, so worrying about a future mission for a while wasn’t something that Ko was going to waste his time considering.
Crimson eyes turned to see the man who had asked him about the day. They then curved to look at the windy sky above where dust blew in the two men’s faces. A slight frown crossed his face as he thought of the strange description of the day that was standing before them. “Fine day? Not sure what the hell you’re seeing. There’s a storm coming up.” The frown widened. He knew there was a big one coming. It wasn’t the ‘finest’ of days according to the Jounin. However he did respect the younger male’s optimism and forced himself to crack a smile as the white haired boy bowed slightly to him in respect. Ko returned the favor by bowing his head slightly in return. He believed in the respect philosophy of “giving what you get”. If someone showed him respect he would likely return the favor.
The wind picked up, slapping the two men in the face with a pile of sand that had swept off of the buildings where they had settled over the days. He looked back at the man; the same crimson eyes that begged for understanding a majority of the time now questioned the weather even more. “I suggest we move indoors. Any stronger and the wind will blow us off the buildings.” Ko paused for a moment. It was still somewhat early in the morning. “How about a cup of coffee? You seem to need some inspiration.” It wasn’t like Ko to be so social with anyone else, and never had he asked another male for a cup of coffee, at least not that he recalled. But what could it hurt?

"Haha, I suppose you're right!"
Tetsuma felt a bit silly for calling it a [i[fine day . It occured to him that he had not been paying attention to a lot all day as he was focused and determined to get through this new novel he was writing, or at least, get through as much as he could in one day. He felt a little bad as he had not seen Kazai since he woke up. He really didn't want her to feel like he was ignoring her or anything. The wind suddenly picked up as the man before him mentioned a storm coming, which Tetsuma himself never even knew about until he had said it. The wind slapped both men in the face with a small amount of sand being thrown along with it, making the wind feel a lot more sharper than it originally was. This was quite the inconvenience to Tetsuma himself. It was a good thing Ko had come and distracted the man or else he would've been fighting with the storm in an attempt to get his novel written. Tetsuma was one known to be a stubborn person to anyone who actually knew his personality. "Yeah, that doesn't sound like a bad idea. I could use some right now," Tetsuma had respectfully accepted the offer by Ko to head somewhere in doors and possibly have some coffee to pass the time. He wasn't big on coffee but he didn't mind the taste either. It did help him reenergize his mind though whenever he was in a mental trap. This was all he could do to pass the time on this kind of day. It wasn't boring but at the same time it wasn't eventful either. This would be one of the first times too, since that incident that Tetsuma would be spending time with his senior, Ko, for whatever reason. At least this time it wasn't due to his wife's uneasiness with dealing with living in a new village. At least she wasn't causing anymore trouble though, and thankfully Ko didn't report her or anything to the Gufukage. "Do you wanna head in now?[/blockquote] TechniquesNone ItemsNone

"There you are!"
A poof of smoke dissipated, indicating a Shuunshin no Jutsu which has since passed. Kazai appeared standing next to Tetsuma. Her index finger and thumb were pinched tightly around his ear. And with such control over his ear, she had likely placed him under a metaphorical leash. She wasn't actually upset with him at all, however, she had been wondering where he had gone to, having woken up to an empty bed. It had been quite a surprise for her, and she had planned to repay the debt by sneaking up on him now as she had just done. Of course, it was very possible that he had sensed her presence all the while as well. He was jounin, after all. But she liked to think she had managed to sneak up on him regardless.
"I thought we were going to get pregnant this morning. Did your feet get cold?" Kazai said, halfway joking with him. However, she then noticed Ko standing there as well. She had been much too focused on Tetsuma until now, and with her mind being so one tract right now, she had neglected to see him. Yeah, Kyo. She remembered him of course. The two of them had had an incident not so long ago... concerning something or other. Really, it was tedious. Kazai could hardly remember. She had been going through a lot of much-welcomed stress at the time, with her life changing, marriage, and all. A girl could have a license to go a little crazy, right?
"Oi, Ko-sensei," Kazai greeted the man, now removing her hand from her husband's ear to properly bow to the much larger man. She'd bend over just a little before standing upright again.
"It's a pleasure to see you again. Hope I'm not disrupting your private time with my Tetsu-kuuuun."

Ko nodded. Finding a less hostile environment indoors would probably be the best idea for the time being. The wind was still blowing as the two men carried on to a small coffee house just down from where they had been standing on the rooftops. It was quaint little restaurant, only serving a few things, but Ko happened to know that the coffee they served there was top notch. He would come here whenever he got the chance, which, by the way, was not very often. However, sharing a cup of warm coffee did not seem like a bad idea for the Jounin. He had not gotten a chance to thank Testuma for restraining his wife from killing him.
Now that he thought about it, where had the girl gone He had not seen her wandering the streets of Sora, and had not heard of her ever since that incident. He didn’t expect to see her, but he was proven wrong as a puff of white smoke made its appearance in the coffee house. Ko laughed slightly, seeing as the other man’s ear was being forced apart from his head by his own wife. He turned his head away, putting his hand over his mouth and eyes as her little comment about their plans come out from their lips. His red eyes looked around, hoping that it was only he and Testuma who had heard their conversation. Kazai had obviously not noticed of Ko’s presence, otherwise the Jounin figured that she would have not come in and said such a thing in front of him.
Ko bowed his head slightly, returning his respects to the lady that stood at the end of the table. It seemed like an awkward time for Ko. The two of them had really gotten into it a while back, and it made the man slightly uncomfortable at this time.
A waiter approached the table with a pen and tablet in her hand. “What do you want for drinks?” Ko stared at her as he thought, he didn’t want anything big, and he didn’t plan on really getting anything to eat. “Just coffee, and whatever these two want. My treat.” He said, smiling slightly as he turned back to the couple.

"Man, this wind won't let up. Hm, I think I've been down here before,"
Tetsuma was following behind Ko at an even pace with the man. The white haired male had his left hand stuffed in his pocket while he used his right arm to shield his face from the natural sand blasting of the elements. This was great, now when he got home he'd have to take a long hot bath to get all the grains of sand out of his wild hair. Eventually they came up to a street he vaguely recognized, but he didn't spend too much time remenicing on it or taking in the sites. As Ko headed into the shop, he too soon followed suit and took a seat across the table from the red headed male. As he was getting adjusted, about to say something of what he believed wasn't really important, a familiar voice rung in his ear.
"Huh? Gah! Ouch ouch!"
Suddenly a woman was grabbing him tightly by the ear, almost able to control his every movement like he was some dog. He was attempting to get free of her grip while simultaneously letting her hold it due to the light pain. As he slightly turned his head and looked up, he saw his wife, Kazai, standing there with that look on her face. He knew this wouldn't be good, since he left her alone in bed before she even woke up.
"H-hey! Don't say those things out in public like that!"
He said in a whisper as he stood up and leaned close to her. He looked around with shifty eyes, and it turned out a couple people sitting around had managed to hear her, but thank goodness no one else in the establishment had. After she had said a few things to their company, Ko, he took her hand and pulled her to the table and pulled out a seat for her so that she could sit down with them quietly before he took his own seat. When the waiter had approached the table, Tetsuma had also wished for some coffee as well as a glass of water to kind of give him some amount of balance.
"Hey Kazai-hime, what brings you here anyways?" TechniquesNone ItemsNone

Tetsuma sounded so shy, however Kazai paid him little attention. She wasn't actually so concerned if people had heard what she had said. After all, the two of them were married. They could have a kid if they wanted to, right?! Of course. So instead of being embarrassed or anything, she simply giggled childishly momentarily before taking a seat next to her husband where he had so kindly pulled out a chair for her.
"That is ever so kind of you Kyo-sensei. I'll just be getting a Strawberry Lemonade," Kazai spoke graciously to the waiter. She then returned her attention to her husband, who for some reason decided to ask her what she was doing here. Perhaps it wasn't obvious enough that she had hunted him down.
"I was looking for you, silly," Kazai said before pecking him softly on his cheek. She then turned to face Ko once more.
"So what are you two up to?"

Ko felt out of place in the conversation as the two spouses went back and forth explaining their whereabouts. He couldn’t help but confirm that he never wanted to get married. He could remember love, but it was so far away that it was muffled in the years of isolation. In his head he could see the face of his lost love. Gloom struck over him as he remembered the feeling of actually not being lonely, for once in forever, it seemed. He longed for that feeling a lot of the time, but as he saw the two of them going back and forth, he was starting to doubt his own emotions. Had he really once wanted such a thing? He couldn’t help but question himself now.
When a question came his way, Ko was so lost in his tracks that the sound of Kazai’s voice could not even reach his ears. His mind was blocking the sounds from the restaurant. The clanking of coffee mugs as they were cleaned and pressed down on the tables, the shuffling of chairs, the tapping of high heels and rustling of newspapers, the low talking of the other customers as they tried their best to keep their conversations private, none of that reached him, they were all blocked.
A plate crashed on the ground and Ko was brought back to his senses. He looked up at Testuma, and then at Kazai who was staring at him. Apparently she had said something that he obviously did not happen to catch in his deep thinking. ”Sorry?” He tried to figured out a question that might have followed, and came up with something as quickly as he could. “Oh! Right, er. Testuma and I were just chatting.” Ko brought his hand up and rubbed the back of his neck and he looked away, his face still troubled with the thoughts of his past. It was apparent that his mind wasn’t fully present at the time.

"O-of course,"
He said, a faint blush on his cheeks as Kazai had explained herself before pecking his cheek. When she approached Ko with a question, it seemed like it took several seconds before he even realized what had happened. Tetsuma leaned forward and rested both his arms on the table, parallel to each other and touching as he kind of stared at the old male curiously. He seemed distant in thought, as if something in his mind had captured his attention from the couple in front of him. Tetsuma and Kazai waited for a bit until a loud crash echoed through the small establishment, the shattering of fine china. It seemed to have woken Ko from his day dream, which allowed him to reply to his wife's question awkwardly.
"Ko-sempai, you seem distant,"
He said in a bit of a low tone. He wasn't overly serious, just being a bit analytical, which wasn't really his forte either. He sat up again and kept looking at Ko for a bit, wondering what could be on his mind when the waiter came with all of their drinks, carefully setting each one in front of the three.
"Ah, thank you very much"
Tetsuma said, the waiter bowing and turning around to help clean up the mess one of the newer waitresses had caused. Tetsuma watched quietly as the man left, then smiled softly, taking his coffee and taking a sip of it. Tetsuma had totally forgotten about the book he was trying to write with the appearance of his wife and all. TechniquesNone ItemsNone
