Dakori(And anyone)
Type of Weapon: The Double-blade Swords are basically swords with two modes.
Weapon Description: The swords look like normal swords, except they have circular hilts. One sword has a 'mound' on the end of the hilt. The other has a hole. The 'mound' sword has two small domes(They can retract upon force) near the beginning of the mound, which is suppose to fit in to the two holes on the 'hole' sword. By putting them together and twisting it so that the domes fit in to the holes, you get a double-bladed sword.
There are some flaws about this. One flaw is that this weapon only exists with a circular hilt, so it is going to be hard to control than a standard rectangular hilt. Another flaw is it's weight. It's slightly heavier than a sword, so it's going to be a hard time learning to control the weapon. And one more thing is that it's easily separable, so if an enemy finds out how this weapon works and attempts to separate the two combined swords, get the hell away from him/her.
Special Abilities: The swords, combined or not, are able to be applied with chakra of any nature. It doesn't matter if they're not connected, the outcome for infusing chakra will be the same for the swords.
With wind chakra, it forms a small, 'tornado'-like structure around the blades and it is sharpened. Spinning and twirling the Double-bladed swords(in a light saber fashion)adds more deadliness to it.
With earth chakra, the blades are surrounded with earth, making it heavy but more power and force is applied. A downward strike is best, as the weight can turn in to speed.
With fire-chakra, the blades burst on fire become hot, and is able to singe the skin if it gets just a small touch of it. Non-stop attacks are best, as it will be hard to block and the virtually only solution is to dodge and/or get away.
With water chakra, water surrounds the blade, and swiftness is added. Spinning attacks are best for this, as the swiftness can increase the sharpness.
With lightning chakra, the blades are surrounded with electricity that can cause pain upon contact. Pretty much any style is good for this.
Notes: What's good about the weapon is that, in double-bladed mode, with the proper training, it can become deadly. Twirling adds unpredictability, and striking at the end of twirling will force the enemy to think fast, most of the time.
If not connected, then it can be just as unpredictable, as long as you swing from different angles for each sword and twirl them around. Twirling them at your sides is a good defense. So it's like the separate mode is for defense, while the combined mode is for offense.
It is easy to separate the swords when combined. Just give it a twist and poof. So make sure to be a safe distance away from the enemy if you know they know how to dis-attach the two swords.
A good thing to know about this is that Dakori was the creator of this sword, and with the help of his father, who is a blacksmith, he can make some. You can go get one for free from Dakori in the Village Hidden in the Sky. But hey, let's be realistic:What's stopping you from making one of these?[/size]
