General Rules
1. Respect the staff. The staff is always right, do not anger them. If you are sure that they are in the wrong, PM another staff member and they will hear both sides. But do not directly confront them.
This means..- Respect all staff no matter what. If they say something to you that you don't like, or that you feel is wrong, PM an Admin that's not involved in it and they will decide what's what.
- The staff must respect the members of the site as well. Staff cannot go around treating people like garbage, or not accepting their work just because they don't like you. If you think this is happening, PM an Admin that is not involved and you will get a reply on it.
2. You MUST role play in PAST TENSE! And you MUST role play like a story.- Because this is an RP site, you must role play like it is a story, which it is. If you have never used past tense before, and need some help training with it, use the battle ground board to hone your skills, so you can become used to using past tense when you use your character.
- Wrong example: Anon walks forward and says, "Time for some Ichiraku Ramen."
- Right example: Anon walked forward and said, "Time for some Ichiraku Ramen."
3. Respect each other. Please don't make me hand out bans for disrespecting fellow members for no good reasons.
4. No spamming. Don't post just for the sake of posting.
5. Try not to double post. If you absolutely have to and you cannot just edit your previous post, then I will allow it. Just try to avoid it in the actual RP.
6. While RPing, your posts must be at least a full paragraph long, or at least five sentences long. We would prefer two paragraphs, but we will settle for one. We will be pretty lenient on this, but you will be warned if you have consistently short posts.
7. Use the best possible spelling and grammar. It annoys me sometimes when people have terrible spelling or grammar, so just spell check and proofread your posts. If your posts start getting too bad, you will be warned. If you continue to have bad posts after three warnings, you will be banned for at least one week.
8. No pornography. Of any kind. Ever.
9. Be active. If someone has not made a post, or edited a previous one, for 2 weeks without a good reason, we will send them a warning. If they don't start being active again within another 2 weeks without a good reason, we will delete their account.
10. All official battles must be watched over by a staff member.
11. Mature RPing is allowed, but you must put [MATURE], or [M] in the title of the thread. Mature RP is not allowed on this site in any form. If you want to roleplay something mature, take it into a PM where youngling's cannot see it. Or Fadeout
12. No IC posting until your character is approved.
13. This is an alternate universe RP. This means that events within the original series have no taken place, however jutsu and clans used in the original series will be on here.
14. You may not post in a thread (unless it says "Open" in the title) without permission from both the creator of the thread and the 2nd person to post in that thread. The only exception is for a Missing-nin, the leader of the village that the thread is in, or a Hunter-nin that is chasing a Missing-nin from his village who is in that thread. However, please don't abuse this and have a group of 3 Missing nin attack 1 person. An Admin may stop you from killing that person if it does happen.
15. If your character is from a village (say Konoha) and post in another (say Ame) for a fight, shinobi of that village (Ame) don't need your permission to join in as you are behind enemy lines. However, there is still a 6 person limit for that thread.
16. Please don't post in an application thread unless it's yours or you're a staff member.
17. Liquid RP is disabled. That means, you may not be playing a character in two different threads at the same time. You must finish the first thread with your character before entering another one. This, however, does not mean that you can't have one character in one thread and another character in another at the same time.
18. You may not play two characters (NPCs don't count) in the same thread at the same time. So, for example, if you were the RPer for both Naruto and Kakashi, you could not post as both of them in the same thread. The only way it could work is if you post as Naruto, then have him exit, and then make another post for Kakashi's entry and all of that. However, if you would like to of your characters to meet and interact and whatnot, you may give someone else permission to temporarily play one of your characters for you. This does not apply in battle threads.
19. This is a rule about someone leaving, and leaving things like Jutsu. If you decide to leave the site, and you have jutsu that were personal based. Once you leave we will change them to "Open" for the whole site to use. Just a small warning.

Battle Rules
1. NO GODMODDING! The staff will judge if something is godmodding or not, but if you feel that there is something we missed, just ask us to check it.
2. You only have a certain amount of chakra. This goes hand in hand with godmodding. Don't try to use jutsu multiple times without getting tired. If you see this happening and someone has gone over 100% of their chakra, tell the staff and they will make a ruling.
3. You can't dodge everything. Again, this is part of godmodding, but I'll be more specific. If you are attacked with something, say the Phoenix Flower jutsu, you can't just jump to the right and say you dodged the whole thing. This often becomes the case in taijutsu battles. Unless you are an expert in taijutsu, like Gai, chances are you will be hit a few times.
4. In your posts, do not write that you hit someone. Write that you are aiming to hit them in a certain spot or trying to do something, but don't write like you've already done it. Examples:
WRONG WAY:
Rock appeared behind Anon after using the Replacement jutsu and stabbed him in the back of the head with a kunai.
RIGHT WAY:
Rock quickly made the familiar hand signs and activated the Replacement jutsu, switching his own body with that of a nearby log, which was located conveniently enough directly behind Anon, just before an attack hit where he was standing moments ago. Then, he drew a kunai from his pouch and leaped forward, toward Anon, attempting to stab him in the back of the head.
5. In a fight, there can only be up to 6 people. If any more than 4 people fight in one thread, it just gets messy. So don't do it under any circumstances unless Admins specifically tell you that it's okay.
6. If a jutsu or weapon or summon or anything like that is approved during a fight, you may not use it in that fight. You may use it in your next fight, but not one that had already started before it was accepted.
7. Do not metagame. If you do not know what this is, it is pretty much using information obtained OOC inside an IC battle. Example:
Rock looks on Anon's character profile and discovers he has Chidori, so IC Rock states he knew about Anon's abilities and thus is able to predict what he will do next.
This is only acceptable if you obtain information about Anon's character's ability IC, like Killer Bee's team did to Sasuke.
9. If you are asked OOC about something to do with your character or his jutsu or something like that, you must answer in a timely manner.
10. If you do not post your move in 2 days and you did not previously tell the staff (preferably an Admin) that you would be gone, your character is at the mercy of your opponent.
Note: The time may differ depending on the people in the thread. If the creator of the thread and the first other person to join it agree on a shorter time (like 3 days or 1 day), then they may change it for that thread. Also, just to clarify, a day would be 24 hours from the time that the other person made their move. That way there is no confusion as far as time zones are concerned.

Character Rules
1. Character Ranks Due to the nature of the site, we strongly urge, convince and encourage you to make a Genin character, as jounin/chuunin/etc spots are much more limited. You are allowed to make a character of any rank, as long as a position inthe village is available. We still strongly push for genin this makes the site more active and will have a higher chance of getting accepted.
2. Multiple Characters You are allowed to make multiple characters, however each character must be on a separate account each.
3. Usernames Since every character will have his/her own account, each account must, at some point (before or right after your character is approved) have the character's name as its username in official format (Last name First name). No commas in between.
4. Jinchuuriki Use the correct template, simple.
5. Clans
Most canon clans on this site no longer belong to a single village, so you can and most likely will find Akimichi or Yamanaka from different villages. However, certain clans do reside in one village and one village only, such as the Hyuuga and Yuki. If you join these limited clans, you must be from that village. If you join a clan and it is found only in that one village stated, unless you are a rogue, your shinobi must be from that clan. This applies to All bloodline traits as well.
6. Special Characters Special characters, such as Kages and Lords, are limited to one per person. We can't have you taking up all the Kage spots like a greedy American from the o' days.
7. Signatures We insist with all of our godly might that you put a link of some fashion to your character profile in your signature on said profile. That means, if you're character is named Hyuuga Naruto, and you've been approved, a link of some fashion in your signature must lead to Hyuuga Naruto's approved profile. It makes shit so much easier, no?
8. Killing For the most part, unless the owners of the characters agree OOC that the thread is Death Enabled, threads will be non-Death Enabled. There are ways around this though. First is the one I just mentioned, as if you agree to it OOC, the thread can be death enabled. Next way is ANBU-Rogues. Any thread a nuke-nin posts in, an ANBU is allowed to join it without permission and it can become death enabled to the ANBU users discretion. Please don't abuse this though. We want it logical, but not unfair. Next is if the current event/arc takes has users put into situations where death may be inevitable (e.e. Chuunin exams). Lastly, if you're gonna be a dumbass a run into another person's village without the consent of your and the other village's Kages, then yeah you deserve to die.
9. Villages and Wandering Based on the last sentence in the above rule, you can't go from village A to village B at anytime you wish. You need Kage approval, both from your village leader and the leader of the village you're visiting. This, or you need staff approval from two staff members. In addition to this, Genin aren't allowed to leave the village period, unless assigned to a mission by an already approved Kage of their village. Chuunin and above are allowed to leave the village if they have a good reason. Bad reason: "I'm going to train in the outskirts lol" Good reason: "I'm RPing with a nuke-ninja that I have history with"
