Jutsu Lists & Limits

A basic list linking to Naruto Wikia containing lists of jutsus, sorted and all that good stuff. If a jutsu doesn't have a rank or you are concerned about the availability of a jutsu, contact an admin through PM or the cbox and one will answer your questions as soon as they are available. As it would appear, many, if not all, of these techniques lack an official rank in the Naruto Databooks, and so, many come asking "What rank should I put this as?" and such. I've come to tell you that in order to use these techniques, you must register them on this site as universal techniques before they can be used. Yes, usually that would be the job of the staff, and normally I would agree. But, I'm not the one using the techniques, you guys are, and so if you want them you must put forth some worth yourselves.

Although it may seem like a bit of a set back for you and us all, in order for anyone to use any of the combination elements, that is, starting off as a genin, you can only start off with one half of the style (e.g., if you want Youton, you can only start off with Katon or Doton, and from there purchase the other, and THEN purchase Youton). We do it this way because Genin can only start off with 1 element. However, Chuunin and above are exempt from this ruling, so they can start off with both their elements and the combination one.

Limit on Basic Techniques

Kawarimi no Jutsu

It took me a while to type this up but I knew there'd come a time where I'd have to. Kawarimi no Jutsu (substitution technique) is a very useful jutsu but it can be unnecessarily spammed but noobs and loopholers. To limit your ability to substitute 100 times per battle, I've come up with a clever system. Before one can use the kawarimi no jutsu ICly, you have to prep it one post before it can be done and you have to do it clearly. First, hand seals have to be made for it, then you have to state in your post that you search for (whether physically or just with your eyes) an object that you can replace with. The object has to be approximately the size of your torso and cannot be another character (whether it be a clone, PC or NPC) nor a weapon/shield. In addition, your character must also be physically powerful enough to lift the object without any enhanced abilities. Once you have done the above and made your post, only next post can you actually use the Kawarimi. If you don't use it, then it doesn't mean you get "roll over minutes". In other words, if you don't use kawarimi your following post after prepping, then you have to prep again to use it.

Shunshin no Jutsu

Another commonly spammed technique. The limit to this technique is very simple, as it is limited based on rank. Genin (including advanced) can only use it once a thread. Chuunin can use it twice, jounin three times, and Kage level ninja are allowed to use it up to four times a thread. No arguments, not complaining, just accept it.[/size][/blockquote]

Skills Updating

Okay so when you first fill out your application you add in a little section called ”Special abilities.”. Those are freely given to your character but is that the end? Should it be? No no of course it shouldn’t be. The point of having a Genin or any character really is to see what you can do with them and see how they can grow and develop. Whats the point of having a character who can’t get better, or learn new things? It’s why we have the ability to purchases justu after all. So why not have the ability to purchase new skills?

That’s what this is, Introducing the ability to purchases Skills to be added to your character! Following the template below you can post here to add new skills to your special characters.

They will be judged by staff like anything else and deemed acceptable or not for fairness [As always Staff have final say and all decisions are final and inarguable.] and there are still exp to be paid as listed below. Skills are able to be used much more frequently then jutsu in most cases thus they are a bit pricier then juts and a character is limited to 5 skills total. These skills must still fit their jutsu, elements, and skills knowledge (referring to primary, secondary, and unskilled abilities) But Have fun and lets see those characters grow!

Special abilities are divided into four categories: I, II, III and IV, with Skill Lv I being the most basic, II being intermediate, III being advanced and IV being master. In most cases if you don't include a special ability (typically the preset ones we've listed) it is assumed that your level in that ability is lv I. Much how there are jutsu limits when starting off with a character, there a special ability limits when starting off, however once you have been approved there is no limit to how many special abilities you can have.
