The streets were filled with decorations and people laughing and cheering, lights and candle lamps were strung from the rooftops as the Season of the Dragon was underway as Day one began. The sun had fallen not even a full hour ago and the festivities were already underway, and the people filling the streets shot fireworks, children played and people were all around enjoying themselves.
Yuu Uchiha sat upon a roof top, the cool darkness and starlight upon his back, the warm light and glow of the party below, Yuu sat quietly and watched. His body forward, elbows resting on his knees as he watched quietly and with an almost bored expression, although eh wasn’t bored at all. He loved watching the festival, it was the time in the village when people watching was the most fun.
He observed the people, laughing and enjoying themselves, then he took a moment to himself. Sighing lightly, he closed his eyes and looked up to the night sky, opening them to gaze at the first day of the full moon and bright stars. The sky was always beautiful, day or night, and it was so big It made him feel insignificant. Which many would claim he was, the “Odd Uchiha Out”. But Yuu knew he was powerful, he carried the Uchiha bloodline and used it only when needed. In fact he used it as a last resort in most cases, wanting to relay on his own strength rather then that of hi blood…
But those were thoughts he pushed from his mind. Tonight, and the nights to come were all about fun and enjoying the moment. Nights and times like these were, after all, rare for a shinobi, and should be cherished. For this may be his last Season of the Dragon festival…. You never knew the future did you?

"Yeah yeah! The rice balls are tasty, too!"
Tsutomu was having a blast this night. He had been to the festival a hundred times (a complete exaggeration) anad he never got tired of it. The warm and welcoming feeling everyone gave off during this time of the year made Tsutomu overjoyed. He was usually a quiet boy but when in a large crowd like this with such a positive feeling he couldn't help but grin widely and laugh and partake in the activities. In one of his hands he held a rice ball that was 'untouched' while in the other he had another that was half eaten by now. In between talking to some of his acquaintences, he took a few bites and went back to talking. In just a few minutes his riceball had been devoured and he was working on his second.
Tsutomu walked down the street, glowing orange and red and yellow and many other bright colours that were litering the streets with their radiance. He was in a group of three people plus him and they were all just wandering the village. Tsutomu was ready to try and attempt some of the fun little games the road side shops had to offer, such as catching fish with rice paper nets or fishing apples out a barrell without using his hands. There were so many things to do. Tsutomu stopped in front of one stand that was a kunai throwing test that you had to do blindfold. He was eager to test it, even though his shurikenjutsu was way below average for a Genin.

All the lights would amaze any person. However, Ayake had seen these golden lights for a majority of her life. Still she couldn’t help but feels somewhat nostalgic as she remembered how pretty the lights looked to her when she was young. She was dressed in her usual gears. She didn’t like changing outfits and right now she just preferred being in something comfortable. She hated wearing the long gowns with the flowers and cherry blossoms. The woman just wanted to be normal today—as normal as she had always been.
To be honest she was still getting used to her position as Ranpu Lord. Everything was under her control. She had decided not to let the death of Lord Itachi get to the people of the village. She wanted them to remember him, but not to mourn over him for too long. She knew that this would only weaken the people as a whole. At a time like this they couldn’t afford to lose their strength as a Village.
Ayake stood at the top of the roof over the large building where she worked as Ranpu Lord. It was a beautiful scene and the lights glistened in her golden eyes as she watched all of the people below. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves at the festival, and that is what made Ayake happy.
She noticed one boy in particular who sat alone on top of another roof not far away. All he did was stare at the lights below. Ayake read his face as sadness or a bored expression. Her eyes narrowed as she stood to her feet. Within an instant she disappeared only to reappear right beside the boy. She stood there quietly. She was sure that the boy had not even heard her appear. Her steps were lightning fast and her ability to land was enough to make any silent assassinator look like an Academy Student. She looked at the people below the two of them, but spoke to the boy beside her. ”Beautiful sight, is it not?”

After spending his fair share of time gazing at the heavens Yuu had returned to people watching and observing the decorative festivities below. It was funny, even with the resent events of the passing of Lord Itachi, the Season of the Dragon festival still went off without a hitch. This seemed to be what the village had been needing, a distraction. A lively excuse to smile and be happy and genially not worry about the next day. Because here, for the next two days, all that awaited them was more excitement and fun.
A slight movement caught Yuu’s ear. It was hard to explain, but he could describe it only in relation to when he threw one of his kunai or shuriken. He was well known in the village for being able to throw faster and further then almost anyone and this sound was almost unnoticeable. Like one of his high speed blades. He raised his head slightly in the moment only to hear words next to him. He eased a moment, it was Lady Ayake. But he didn’t turn to face her right away.
First his mind flashed, did he do something wrong, was there something for him to do? Why would she come to visit him?! Generally no one got missions during this time because it was a time of rest and peace. Only the highest level shinobi got an S rank mission if it could not be avoided. He surly wasn’t one of the best in the village… but he was an Uchiha.. He decided to play her little game, answering her but not looking at her yet. His face still his usual mask of boredom and sleepiness.
”My Lady. The village is always beautiful, tonight it is just so alive… it’s captivating.”
He spoke what he believed about the place he lived, and he was sure she’d agree, unless she was talking about something else entirely. HE let a brief silence fall ebtwenn them, as the light form the streets below decorated the fronts of their bodies and the bright stars illuminated the heavens. Funny to imagine that the leader of this village had just died not to long ago, a long loved and cherished man who’s eyes were similar in fact to Yuu’s own, and the new leader stood beside him, watching the villages biggest most celebrated festival with him. Amazing how things turn out. He spoke again in a slight question, mostly because he was nervous about her presence, because he was young and didn’t normally expect the lords of villages to visit those like him.
”Lady Ayake, is everything alright?”
OOC: -Sorry Tsutomu. I would have replied to you but your post really didn’t give me any real openings. Apologies.

The Sound of metal driving into wood could be heard above a lot of the noise from the festival, At least for a Ninja. Shin was standing on the by one of the 'games' Where the contender had to throw a kunai while blindfolded, a game of accuracy. Shin was had a gentle smile on his face as he watched numerous people come up and give it a shot, some people where pretty talented at this, and some, well lets just say the space around the game wasn't quiet occupied for fear of getting hit by a stray kunai.
Shin Hadn't planed to play himself, games weren't his things. He more watched to kind of scout for other's skills. He just wanted to know how well the people of the village did as these kind of thing. Being leader of Anbu, he needed to always be scouting. Though soon that status would change.
Shin's Crystal blue eyes fell upon a boy who was with a small group of friends come up to the game. He seemed like he wanted to give the game a shot, unlike most people he didn't seem to cocky in his skills, but he didn't seem like he was too nervous either. It was going to be interesting to watch, slightly entertaining.
He suddenly became distracted by the thought of his love Ayake. He wondered what she was doing this moment. He knew she loved the sight of the village at this time, it reminded her of her childhood. For Shin it was a great time as well. It was time where he didn't have worry about assigning missions or wars. It was simply time to live as a village. Shin's hands slid into the pocket of his fur collared jacket. His focus regaining on the boy in front of him. He figured he would watch this boy, then maybe go seek out Ayake.
