Name of Jutsu: Sakanade | Counter Stroke Rank: S Type: Genjutsu Element: -none Description:
A very high-powered Genjutsu, this technique requires a user with a very large chakra pool to pull off, as it can drain the user rather quickly. Though it is a simple concept in prospect, the execution of the technique is very complicated, yet extremely effective.
Ask yourself, what would happen if the world was upside down and back to front? It'd be weird, but we'd eventually get used to it, right? Well, what if the world was upside down, back to front and mirrored? Again, we'd eventually get used to it. This technique inverts the target's sense of what is right and wrong, essentially mirroring reality. Up and down, left and right, forward and backwards, the target's eyesight and also the locations of injuries are all completely reversed. Trying to counter this Genjutsu simply by trying to process all of this is completely impossible, even for someone who trains for years like this, as the body still reacts on instinct to what they see, rather than what the mind wishes it to do. This means that the Genjutsu essentially renders the target completely helpless trying to figure out where the attacks are coming from while seeing the illusion of the assailant striking at them.
This technique would originally be considered an A-rank, if it were not for the ability to effect multiple targets in a said area of 50m and the user can choose which people in that area are affected by the Genjutsu. Of course, the more targets the higher the chakra cost, so the maximum anyone has been able to affect with this is 6 at a time, and after it the user is left feeling very nauseous from the chakra loss, essentially leaving them wide open to attacks. Due to the draining nature of the Genjutsu's chakra cost, the longest the user can keep this technique going for is 4 turns, again after which the user is left feeling extremely nauseous.
Exclusive:
Exclusive to Hozuki Honya
Name of Jutsu: Raikū | Coming Void Rank: C Type: Genjutsu Element: -none Description:
Again affecting the target's sense of perspective, the user will shorten their depth perception, so that a thrown kunai or a blade will seem further away than it actually is, therefore catching the target off guard. This technique usually cannot be detected by target until it is too late, as it's a very subtle technique, however the Genjutsu's hold is rather wavered at best, as a sharp pain can release them from the Genjutsu in addition to the usual Kai, meaning that if the technique is used to ensure a kunai hits the target, the kunai itself will break them out of the Genjutsu, again adding to the one-time use factor.
